Kumar is our Chief Operating Officer,  He brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the banking sector, having held senior leadership roles across wholesale banking operations, digital transformation initiatives, risk and compliance-led operations, and enterprise-wide operational excellence.

Over the course of his career, Kumar has led large and complex operating units, driven process re-engineering and technology-led transformation programmes, and built scalable, resilient operating models aligned with regulatory and business requirements. His strong execution focus, combined with a strategic mindset, enables him to drive efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth across the organization.

In his current role, Kumar is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide operations, strengthening operational governance, and enabling seamless execution in support of the company’s long-term strategic priorities.

Kumar is a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Financial Management Services. He is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also holds a Certificate in Trade Finance from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.

In addition, he has completed several executive and professional programmes, including Senior Leadership from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow; Product Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode; Financial Technology (FinTech) Innovations from the University of Michigan; Risk Management from the New York Institute of Finance; and a Post Graduate Programme in Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from The University of Texas at Austin.
